Description

As a Salesforce QA Automation Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and customizing Salesforce applications to meet the unique needs of the organization. In this position, you'll harness agile techniques to spearhead customer engagements, resulting in precise automated tests and valuable guidance to our product teams.

This position will report to the Software Engineering Manager within the Internal Applications department.


Key Responsibilities

Automation Leadership:

  • Develop, execute, and oversee a diverse range of tests, emphasizing the principles of #shiftleft across the testing pyramid.

  • Design and implement automation frameworks tailored to our products.

  • Contribute to and review the design and code, enhancing quality and efficiency.

Product Mastery:

  • Delve deep into the Salesforce development process and codebase, aiming for continuous improvement.

  • Understand cloud requirements, including its tech stack, business application, and implementation.

  • Participate actively in the Test Design Review Board, focusing on functional aspects, business scenarios, usability, and accessibility.

Integration and Cross-cloud Collaboration:

  • Develop end-to-end integration automation (API and UI) that impacts multiple cloud environments.

  • Prioritize and spearhead cross-product testing initiatives.

Customer Engagement:

  • Engage with customers to grasp real-world usage and transform these insights into test cases.

  • Champion customer-focused improvements and refinements.

Quality Metrics and Monitoring:

  • Monitor and analyze quality health metrics at the product and feature level (including testability, test health, and test coverage).

  • Address and resolve production issues promptly.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with senior developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure features meet business and quality benchmarks.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to your immediate team and other members across various scrum teams.

Preferred Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

  • Salesforce Developer certification (Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II)

  • 1+ years of experience testing Salesforce CRM

  • 3+ SDET experience

  • Experience with Jenkins, Playwright, and Azure Dev Ops a plus

  • Experience in the payment industry

  • Knowledge of Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs and Data Privacy

  • Working knowledge of CI/CD DevOps process.

  • Proven experience in test automation and software development.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
