TouchNet, a Global Payments company is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team! The Quality Assurance Analyst would join the team responsible for testing TouchNet’s Point of Sale (POS) applications.  This role is responsible for certifying existing and new POS machines with each credit card processor that TouchNet integrates with.  This role requires experience in manual testing, working with development teams to make necessary changes required for the certifications, and communication to Project Managers at the credit card processing companies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual test cases provided by the credit card processors for certification.

  • Perform testing for different card types using a Collis EMV Personalization Validation Tool.

  • Document and/or review testing results working closely with Developers and Solution Analysts to resolve reported issues.

  • Creating testing environments and testing data needed to execute manual test cases.

  • Perform software configurations, minor updates and deployments to manage your testing system for successful testing results.

  • Manage testing to project timelines.

  • Communication with Credit Card Processors throughout the certification process.

  • Ensure High Quality in all deliverables: software, test cases, bug cases, and documented results

  • Become a subject matter expert on credit card processing hardware and certification testing.  

  • Perform debugging of testing environments; review log files for troubleshooting and configuration verification of environments.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:           

  • BS or BA degree.  Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Required skills/experience:

  • One+ years of experience testing hardware and\or web based software applications.

  • Experience using SQL to extract, modify and add data to  SQL Server databases.

  • Knowledge and application of structured testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.

  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile software development methodology.

  • Creative, detail oriented and a problem solver.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Self-motivated and driven; takes ownership of personal and team goals.

  • Able to excel with limited supervision in a rapidly changing environment under aggressive timelines.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred skills/experience:     

  • Experience with credit card readers and\or Collis tool.

  • Knowledge of POS and eCommerce applications and understanding of the rules around accepting payments.

  • Experience with credit card processing certification process.
