Summary of This Role

Builds an ecosystem of service partners for TSYS products in issuing segment to ensure maximum profitability and growth. Maps Partner capabilities and priorities with TSYS Products team goals and strategies to meet/exceed revenue targets; drive quarterly business reviews with key service partners and Products leadership. Works with the partners to build a mutual agreeable plan for success, and work diligently to ensure that all parties are adhering to plan. Serves as a primary business contact for strategic partners. Identifies opportunities for improvement as well as communicate and advocate partner needs and goals within TSYS to ensure they are met and properly addressed.

What Part Will You Play?

  • Has accountability for moderately complex Strategic Partners in delivering products to clients, to include leading and managing partner management staff, developing and maintaining relationships with supplier executives, negotiating supplier contracts, leading and managing vendor management controls, and optimizing business opportunities with third party supplier partners.

  • Works with assigned Partners in adherence with regulatory requirements and the TSYS Supplier Manager Oversight Program. Works with TSYS Procurement, Legal, Finance, Product Management, and Corporate Strategy & Development to actively and aggressively manage all aspects of the vendor relationship from on boarding, through renewals, negotiations, and replacement strategies and/or retirement, vendor performance, and tracking contractual obligations of information security, financial viability, BC/DR, performance, insurance and other monitoring activities.

  • Works with assigned Partners and TSYS Executive, Product Management, and Strategy teams to create and manage mutually agreeable roadmaps for success over the next 3-5 years, and work to ensure that partners are tracking to plan.

  • For assigned Partners, creates management reporting and dashboards for consumption at an executive leadership level.

  • Participates in due diligence, and supports the planning and implementation of strategic business development objectives, major segment initiatives, and key partnerships and alliances pursuant to the mid- to long-range strategic plans of the segment and enterprise. Works with Corporate Strategy & Development team in mergers, acquisitions, and/or joint ventures. Develops key partnerships and collaborating with business leaders internally and externally.

  • Develops and maintains an executive plan (playbook) for each assigned Partner to include: briefings of the partnership and product offering(s), strategic plans that align with the global team overall roadmap, revenue forecast (legacy and new). Provides ongoing direction and guidance for management in order to evaluate and determine the best use of budgeted financial resources to allow for business objectives or priority changes.

  • Works with product managers, sales, relationship management teams, consultants, and internal and external partners to align growth strategies, product marketing positioning objectives, pricing strategies, partnerships, communications, industry events, and/or strategies for products and services. Manages Partners in a variety of product or service initiatives that may involve products that are in development which have significant revenue potential and meets strategic initiatives.

  • Participates in identifying key business opportunities through current or prospective Partners, supports the refinement of strategies, and highlights new technologies, partnerships, and start-ups that result in the development and delivery of new products and services. Advises in company's ability to improve current solutions, process and due diligence provide innovative new solutions in a timely manner to drive the success of our clients and their customers. Conducts complex analysis of data, requests, and facts. Solves complex problems, which typically deviate from established procedures. Uses individual judgment to make and approve recommendations for actions or changes to established methods.

  • Proactively builds relationships and facilitates productive round table discussions with critical divisions and/or segments third party vendors, suppliers and business partners to support building strategic relationships to address supplier issues, internal stakeholder relationships and contract renewal negotiations. Reviews maintenance agreements for additional cost savings opportunities and conducts analysis to create negotiation strategies to approach contract renewal with highly dependent and concentrated suppliers.

  • Manages partner performance through all verticals of the enterprise and its affiliates. Recommends process improvements to executive leadership team.

  • Manages the supplier compliance heat map, business review and status updates for critical and/or global suppliers. Evaluates risk exposure with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and collaborates with Legal, Finance, and Information Security to develop and implement risk mitigation plans. Is the primary point of contact providing continuity throughout the relationship lifecycle connecting sales, product, professional services and Partners together to operate harmoniously utilizing advanced matrix management principles

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science or equivalent field from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

  • Typically a minimum of 8 years

  • Experience in partnerships management, preferably in Fintech industry. Min 4 years of experience in building partner ecosystems

  • Supervision - Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
