In Greece we conduct business through EDPS, which is one of the leading FINTECH companies in Greece specializing in Payments Processing and Advanced Payment Solutions. Our goal is to be the go-to solution for large retailers across all sectors and offer cutting edge technology in order to accept and process electronic payments on both physical location (POS) and eCommerce environments.
For EDPS, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team.
Summary of This Role
Supports sales representatives and channel partners in administrative areas such as order processing, sales quotes, sales information management, product training and financing. Tracks transactions and prepares reports regarding information such as order status, sales results, leads, sales quotas and sales representative earnings. Processes orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact. Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information. Gives price quotations, completes order sheets and checks the price and quantity of each item listed. Distributes order sheets to respective departments. May coordinate with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders.
What Part Will You Play?
• Provide routine support to Sales, during various phases of the sales cycle, to achieve stated revenue and/or market share growth strategies by gathering of data for proposal materials for prospective clients, participating in preliminary call activities, performing prospect research, presentation preparation, compiling of collateral material, and/or meeting preparation/follow-up.
• Create reports and reporting updates related to prospective clients by gathering necessary data as directed.
• Create presentations for internal/external executives, and/or clients and attends meetings where such materials are presented.
• Serving as a single point of contact for assigned sales professionals
• Supporting with ordering, upgrading, product systems / services.
• Responding to additional information from merchants
• Market Analysis coordination
• Setting up meetings with targeted referral partners
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
- Minimum secondary education. A university degree is desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support
- Advanced computer skills, especially: MS Word, MS Excel
- Fluency in Greek and English: Excellent written and spoken skills in both languages
- Ability to work within a team
- Customer-oriented approach
- Highly self-motivated team player with strong analytical skills
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
