Summary of This Role
This role is responsible for proactively prospecting and acquiring new clients through targeted outbound and pre‑sales activities. The position focuses on building strong, trust‑based relationships, conducting market research, and identifying new business opportunities. It involves developing tailored proposals, leading negotiations, and managing the full sales cycle through contract signing. The role collaborates closely with internal teams to support sales strategy execution, ensure efficient use of company resources, and deliver a strong customer experience, while operating in full compliance with regulatory and fraud prevention requirements.
What Part Will You Play?
Actively prospect and acquire new clients, building lasting relationships based on trust
Execute hunter and pre-sales activities in line with a predefined plan
Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
Maintain and manage target lists, prepare reports and performance summaries
Carry out market research and identify new business opportunities
Assess prospective customer needs in order to enhance the customer experience and grow revenue
Develop tailored proposals, lead negotiations, and manage contract signings
Organize, conduct, and administer client meetings
Proactively contribute to the development of the sales team's strategy and processes
Collaborate actively with internal teams and departments
Build effective working relationships both internally and externally to support and promote the Global Payments brand and products
Ensure efficient and effective use of company resources
Ensure full compliance with all GPE regulations and fraud prevention and monitoring requirements
This role will be dedicated to the West Hungary region
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
At least 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales (hunter role experience is a plus)
Strong sales affinity with a performance- and goal-oriented mindset
Business development skills aimed at driving revenue growth
Confident client acquisition, presentation, and negotiation skills at all levels of the corporate hierarchy
Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
Independent, proactive work style with strong time management skills
Logical and analytical thinking, a structured approach, and sharp attention to detail (e.g. when handling administrative tasks and documentation)
Positive, flexible attitude and solution-oriented mindset
University degree or PSZÁF Certificates
Fluent Hungarian and English, both written and spoken
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Valid category B driving license
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in economics, business, commerce, or management
Experience in card payments, fintech, or financial services
An established network in retail, hospitality, or related sectors
Knowledge of an additional foreign language
