Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Risk Specialist to join our Enterprise Risk Management team and help us unleash the potential of our business.

What you’ll own

As the Risk Specialist for our APAC region, you will be the primary point of contact for all Enterprise Risk matters, representing Worldpay’s ERM team locally. Your expertise will be crucial in embedding risk accountability into business operations and supporting strategic objectives, ensuring they are achieved in a responsible and sustainable way. You’ll lead key initiatives, work closely with stakeholders across our APAC entities and globally, playing a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating risk.

Significant activities include:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to address complex, region-specific issues, balancing risk and reward in decision-making.
  • Communicate professionally with executive and senior leaders, providing clear insights and recommendations.
  • Apply sound judgment in assessing potential risks, operating within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Monitor and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders, serving as a trusted escalation point.
  • Present risk assessment results to APAC Boards and other key governance forums.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience with risk management practices, including risk and controls evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of local risk management requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and accountability.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities aligned with business objectives.

It’s a bonus if you have

  • Knowledge of merchant acquiring services.
  • Experience preparing and delivering executive-level reports.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory risk management requirements.
