Job Description

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Risk Analyst to join our ever evolving Enterprise Risk Management team and help shape the future of global commerce.

In Greece we conduct business through our joint venture with the National Bank of Greece, NBG Pay. NBG Pay provides merchant acquiring services to small, medium, large and corporate merchants across Greece. Services include the authorisation, clearing, and settlement of credit, debit and prepaid card transactions between cardholders and merchants.

What you’ll own

  • Support the Risk function to ensure risk policies and standards are kept up to date and relevant

  • Prepare reports and presentations to facilitate the upward reporting of risk information within the business

  • Document and maintain the business’ risk appetite and tolerance thresholds on a regular basis

  • Monitor issues, incidents and other operational risk events and updates key risk indicators accordingly

  • Liaise with the business to strengthen controls where deficiencies have been identified

  • Update the annual Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) register on behalf of the business

  • Using Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools, assists business units with the evaluation and management of vendors in accordance with enterprise and local policies.

  • Manage the ICT vendor inventory and reporting requirements as mandated by EBA guidelines as well as other regulatory guidelines (e.g., Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA))

  • Oversee Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans for the local entity

  • Respond to internal and external audit requests for evidence on risk management related topics

  • Other tasks assigned by the Director

The duties listed are indicative and not restrictive.

What you’ll bring

  • University Degree in business administration, economics or related quantitative field

  • 5+ years of previous experience in Risk Management in a regulated environment, preferably financial services

  • Operational risk management experience preferably gained in the financial services sector

  • Experience of working with ICT/security framework within the Payments industry (e.g., DORA, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS) will be considered an asset

  • Excellent written and spoken skills in both Greek and English languages

  • Excellent communication skills & Analytical skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to payment industry

  • Strong report writing and presentation skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload from multiple sources.

  • Professional maturity and high energy
