Job Description

Ready to take your career global?

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Senior Dispute Analyst to join our ever evolving Disputes Operations team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting clients, cardholders and the business by driving fair, accurate and timely dispute resolutions across the payments ecosystem. Your expertise will help strengthen trust in every transaction, ensure compliance with card network and regulatory requirements, and uncover insights that improve operational performance and customer experiences. Working alongside experienced payments professionals, you will have the opportunity to influence processes, support complex decision-making, mentor colleagues and contribute to solutions that advance Global Payments’ mission of delivering seamless, secure and innovative payment experiences worldwide.

What you'll own

  • Drive successful dispute outcomes by leading complex chargeback and arbitration cases, ensuring accurate resolutions that protect clients, cardholders and the business while meeting critical industry timelines.

  • Strengthen operational excellence by applying deep analytical expertise to identify transaction patterns, mitigate risk and improve the effectiveness and consistency of dispute resolution processes.

  • Influence business performance through insights and recommendations that enhance compliance, reduce financial exposure and support informed decision-making across dispute operations.

  • Champion quality and accountability by reviewing complex case documentation, ensuring regulatory and card network requirements are met, and maintaining high standards of accuracy across dispute activities.

  • Enable team success by sharing expertise, guiding colleagues through complex scenarios and helping elevate overall capability, productivity and service outcomes.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years of relevant experience in dispute resolution, chargebacks, payments operations or a related field.

  • Proven ability to analyze complex transaction activity, interpret findings and make sound decisions that deliver accurate and compliant outcomes.

  • Strong working knowledge of card network regulations and industry dispute processes, with the ability to apply requirements confidently in real-world situations.

  • Demonstrated success managing competing priorities, exercising initiative and maintaining high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence outcomes, build trust and support colleagues across teams.

It's a bonus if you have

  • Experience handling dispute cases throughout the full association lifecycle, including arbitration and final rulings.

  • Experience identifying operational trends and recommending process improvements that enhance client and business outcomes.

  • A track record of coaching, mentoring or informally leading team members in complex operational environments.
