In this role, you’ll drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and lead high-performing sales teams that connect businesses with innovative payment solutions. Your leadership will influence how we acquire, retain, and grow client relationships while strengthening strategic partnerships that create long-term value. As a key member of the team, you’ll help accelerate business performance, develop future sales leaders, and contribute to Global Payments’ mission of delivering technology-driven commerce experiences that power businesses today and drive growth for the future.
What you'll own
- Drive sustainable revenue growth by leading sales strategies that expand market penetration, strengthen client relationships, and deliver annual business objectives.
- Create new growth opportunities through strategic partnerships and referral channels that increase client acquisition, expand market reach, and generate long-term value.
- Shape sales performance and business outcomes by using data, forecasting insights, and market intelligence to improve decision-making and accelerate results.
- Build and develop high-performing sales teams that consistently achieve ambitious goals, strengthen client success, and create a culture of accountability and growth.
- Influence cross-functional alignment and client experience to improve retention, increase satisfaction, and deliver measurable business impact across the organization.
What you'll bring
- Proven success leading sales teams and delivering revenue growth in a complex business-to-business environment.
- Extensive experience developing sales strategies, building pipelines, and achieving or exceeding business objectives.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing sales professionals.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders while influencing outcomes across multiple functions.
- At least 8 years of sales experience, including 3–4 years in a people leadership or supervisory role.
It's a bonus if you have
- Post-secondary degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Experience managing a sales team focused on the Canadian Small and Medium Business (SMB) market.
- Demonstrated success growing strategic partnerships, referral channels, or client portfolios.
