Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our ever evolving sales team and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you’ll own

  • Develops moderately complex code using both front and/or back end programming languages within multiple platforms as needed to refactor core API services, ensuring the systems process traffic with no logic limitations across multiple global regions.
  • Designs, creates, and delivers moderately complex program specifications for code development and support on multiple projects, focusing on application-level resilience patterns, distributed session management, cross-region token/authentication validation, and multi-region asynchronous webhook handling.
  • Provides broad and in-depth knowledge of analysis, modification, and development of complex code/unit testing in order to develop concise application documentation for both Cold-Hot (Active-Standby) and Hot-Hot (Active-Active) disaster recovery (DR) evolutionary phases.
  • Participates in client facing meetings, joint venture discussions, vendor partnership teams, and collaborates closely with internal application engineering teams, hybrid DevOps, and data specialists to seamlessly weave DR capabilities into the active development pipeline.
  • Provides advice to leadership on the design, development and enforcement of business / infrastructure application standards to include associated controls, procedures and monitoring to ensure compliance and accuracy of data. Applies a full understanding and in-depth knowledge of procedures, methodology and application standards to include Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance across a multi-region distributed perimeter.
  • Develops, administers and recommends billable hours and resource estimates on complex initiatives, projects, and issues. Responsible for breaking down application DR milestones into high-quality Technical Issues (TIs) and providing accurate Dev estimations for Cold-Hot and Hot-Hot implementations.

What you’ll bring

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field
  • Typically minimum of 6 years - Professional Experience In Coding, Designing, Developing And Analyzing Data. Typically has an advanced knowledge and use of two or more opposing front / back end languages / technologies from the following but not limited to; two or more modern programming languages used in the enterprise, experience working with various APIs, external Services, experience with both relational and NoSQL Databases.
  • Proven experience in application refactoring, microservices decoupling, or adapting application logic for horizontal scaling across cloud environments.
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field
  • 8+ years professional Experience In Coding, Designing, Developing And Analyzing Data.
  • Direct experience developing application and API tiers deployed in multi-region, Active-Active, or high-availability distributed environments, with a strong understanding of resolving application-level latency and state synchronization challenges.
  • AWS platform experience
