Summary of This Role
Reviews and analyzes consumer and/or commercial credit applications that are not automatically approved or declined by credit card applications. Receives requests from cardholders and merchants that involves credit decisions. Works within client defined credit policies to insure accurate credit decisions. Reviews applications for possible fraud. Provides quality customer service in a timely manner while working in a multi-client environment with multiple system applications.
What Part Will You Play?
- Handles 25-50 daily inquires from 1 or more assigned clients within a multi-client environment with various application systems by responding to cardholder requests, such as credit line increases and account maintenance and reviewing/processing credit card applications, to include verifying information against credit bureau data. Requests system generated letters to credit applicants requesting additional information in order to accurately process their credit application.
- Begins to develop a knowledge of internal and client specific policies and procedures through training, applying established processes to resolve customer inquiries, and assisting more experienced Credit Specialists.
- Completes required documentation/reporting to accurately track daily work assignments for client billing.
