Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for an HR Operations Specialist, Asia Pacific to join our ever-evolving Human Resources team and help deliver exceptional employee experiences across the region.
What you'll own
- Support end-to-end employee lifecycle activities across Asia Pacific, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality HR service delivery.
- Coordinate pre-boarding and onboarding activities including employment offers, employment verification, document collection and validation, employment contract preparation, welcome communications, and onboarding coordination with Payroll, IT, Facilities, and Hiring Managers.
- Prepare and issue HR letters, announcements, employment-related communications, and other HR documentation requested by local HR teams.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and employee lifecycle processes while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage employee data and transactions within Workday, including leave administration, employee record updates, reporting support, and maintenance of personnel information.
- Maintain employee personnel files and electronic HR document repositories while ensuring compliance with internal policies and document retention requirements.
- Administer employee benefits enrollment and disenrollment processes for medical and life insurance programs, acting as a key point of contact between employees and insurance providers.
- Support annual insurance renewal activities and assist with employee claims, inquiries, and benefits-related matters.
- Coordinate employee offboarding activities, including exit communications, release documentation, and separation process administration.
- Generate and analyze HR reports to support audits, compliance reviews, and business requirements.
- Partner closely with local HR teams and cross-functional stakeholders to support regional HR initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
- Manage expatriate employee administration, including work permit applications, residence permit renewals, and related immigration processes.
- Track probation reviews and contract renewals, preparing required documentation and ensuring timely communication with managers and employees.
- Support HR procurement activities, including purchase requisition (PR) and purchase order (PO) processing, vendor account setup, and invoice tracking.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or an HR Generalist environment.
- Experience working in multinational organizations and/or shared services environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), preferably Workday.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Google Workspace is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional employee experiences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate, review, and interpret HR reports and data.
