Job Description

Ready to take your career global?

Make your mark with one of the biggest names in payments. At Global Payments, you help businesses grow by transforming how they accept and manage payments.

The Transformation Lead will be a key member of the Transformation Office, which is responsible for driving enterprise value creation across Global Payments. You will support and lead workstreams for complex, cross-functional initiatives—including M&A integrations, divestitures, and other enterprise transformation projects—partnering closely with corporate functions, and executive leadership. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, are analytically rigorous, and can influence outcomes through structured problem-solving and strong stakeholder management.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead planning and execution for both integration and separation programs across functions (e.g., Technology, Operations, Finance, HR, Risk, Legal), from Day 1 readiness through steady state/exit.
  • Drive end-to-end integration workplans (Day 1, 30/60/90, synergy capture) and separation workplans (Transition Service Agreement (TSA) design, transition, and exit) with clear scope, timelines, and accountabilities.
  • Establish and facilitate governance, including steering routines, RAID management (risks, actions, issues, decisions), change control, and cross-functional dependency management.
  • Monitor TSA service delivery and validate performance is consistent with agreed SLAs and historical practices utilizing a defined monitoring approach; drive remediation as needed.
  • Coordinate TSA billing processes and invoice support with Finance and TSA leads, providing accurate and timely billing, accruals, and true ups for services provided.
  • Lead holistic development and execution of detailed TSA exit workplans, coordinating and providing oversight and guidance to functional leads and PMs on function-specific planning.
  • Lead Day 1 readiness and Day 2 integration execution to ensure continuity of operations, customer experience, and regulatory/contractual compliance; coordinate cutovers and stabilization.
  • Build, track, and report on synergy cases (cost, revenue, working capital), define baselines, and drive benefit realization with Finance and business owners.
  • Provide early identification of roadblocks, potential delays, and interdependencies; facilitate governance reviews to align on changes and make timely decisions.
  • Raise and resolve issues, working collaboratively across teams; act as an integrator across stakeholders, surfacing trade-offs and mitigation options.
  • Provide executive reporting, KPI/OKR tracking, TSA economics, and variance analysis; develop dashboards and concise narratives for senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and information security requirements throughout integration and separation activities.
  • You will have an opportunity to learn about many teams, systems, and processes that span across functional areas and platforms; help document and improve playbooks, templates, and lessons learned.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 8 -10+ years of relevant experience in Transformation, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Finance, PMO, M&A integration/divestitures, or a related cross-functional role.
  • Prior business partnership experience
  • Knowledge of payments/fintech, technology-enabled services, or complex global operations is advantageous.
