This role serves as the operational backbone of the Director of Technical Partnerships organization, ensuring partners successfully onboard, migrate, launch, and support integrations across the Global Payments software portfolio.

The Partner Operations Manager will oversee large-scale partner migration initiatives involving new integration methodologies, APIs, certification standards, and platform modernization efforts. The role works closely with Partnerships, Product Management, Engineering, Implementation, Support, Legal, and Partner Marketing teams to ensure efficient partner execution and consistent partner experience.

This position combines program management, operational leadership, technical coordination, process improvement, and partner-facing engagement to accelerate integration delivery while improving quality, scalability, and partner satisfaction.

What you'll own:

  • Lead partner migration programs from existing integration methods to new platform capabilities, APIs, certification frameworks, and architectural standards.
  • Develop migration plans and processes, timelines, dependencies, risk assessments, and communication plans.
  • Coordinate partner readiness activities including technical onboarding, testing, certification, launch preparation, and cutover planning.
  • Manage migration governance, ensuring milestones, deliverables, risks, and escalation paths are clearly defined and tracked.
  • Drive adoption of new integration standards while minimizing disruption to partners and customers.
  • Own day-to-day operational management of the partner integration portfolio.
  • Establish repeatable operational processes supporting partner onboarding, implementation, certification, launch, support, and lifecycle management.
  • Partner with the Director of Technical Partnerships to improve efficiency, scalability, and execution across integration programs.
  • Maintain visibility into partner implementation status, launch readiness, support issues, enhancement requests, and operational performance.
  • Coordinate resolution of integration issues requiring cross-functional alignment.
  • Maintain a centralized view of all active integrations, migrations, certifications, launches, and technical partnership initiatives.
  • Build executive reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics for leadership reviews.
  • Monitor program risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery commitments.
  • Facilitate recurring operating reviews with Product, Engineering, Support, and Partnership stakeholders.
  • Manage partner onboarding processes, documentation, technical requirements, certification workflows, and launch criteria.
  • Coordinate partners with access to developer resources, sandboxes, testing environments, and technical support channels.
  • Ensure partners understand integration standards, operational expectations, compliance requirements, and certification guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvements in the partner experience through automation, process optimization, and documentation enhancements.
  • Act as the central operational liaison between partners and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on roadmap visibility and migration planning.
  • Work with Engineering teams to align development activities, technical requirements, and deployment schedules.
  • Partner with Support and Customer Success teams to address post-launch operational issues.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Commercial Partnerships teams on integration-related operational dependencies.
  • Define and maintain integration of lifecycle standards, operating procedures, governance models, and best practices.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to accelerate partner onboarding and migration execution.
  • Support development of partner certification frameworks, operational scorecards, and service-level expectations.
  • Drive operational maturity through automation, documentation, reporting, and workflow optimization.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in partner operations, technical program management, product operations, implementation management, integration management, or related functions.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, software integrations, SaaS platforms, and partner ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce, project management platforms, and operational reporting tools.

It's a bonus if you have the following!
