What you’ll own
The Head of Compliance will drive the overall regulatory compliance strategy and licensing footprint for Worldpay Gaming Solutions. Serving as the primary face to regulatory bodies, the Head of Compliance will ensure Worldpay Gaming Solutions maintains flawless adherence to gaming regulations, card brand rules, and market changes, while actively influencing policy to support industry growth and corporate objectives.
- Regulatory Licensing & Liaison: Direct all corporate gaming license applications and renewals; serve as the official liaison to state, tribal, and international gaming control boards and regulators.
- Regulatory Influence & Market Development: Engage directly with regulators to comment on proposed rules, shape new regulated market frameworks, and advocate for outcomes that positively impact both the gaming industry and WPGS.
- Ongoing Compliance Oversight: Track, audit, and enforce organizational adherence to all evolving gaming statutes, statutory updates, and local operational requirements.
- Card Brand & Market Intelligence: Monitor and adapt compliance frameworks to reflect changes in payment network rules (Visa/Mastercard card brand regulations) and broader market dynamics affecting gaming processing.
What you’ll bring
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in gaming, gambling or other highly regulated industry.
- Extensive experience in dealing with regulators, legal experts, regulatory agencies, government and/or other entities involved in the gaming ecosystem.
- Expert negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Highly organized able to manage, influence and direct multiple high level projects at once.
- Well versed on current trends in gaming - both regulated and unregulated.
- Ability to influence strategic conversations while managing the tactical tasks of running the day-to-day business
- Ability to balance commercial opportunity with risk
Key Gaming Personnel Licensing: Candidates must be fully eligible for personal gaming licensures across active and expansion jurisdictions. This includes an absolute willingness to submit to rigorous background investigations and disclose complete personal and financial history dating back to age 18.
