Job Description

Ready to take your career global?

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our ever-evolving Enterprise Product – APAC team and help us unleash the potential of every business.

What you’ll own

  • As the POS Product Proposition Manager, you will shape and scale point-of-sale payment propositions for enterprise merchants across APAC. You will own the regional market proposition lifecycle - from identifying opportunities and defining market requirements to supporting launch, merchant adoption and ongoing optimization - working closely with the Enterprise Omni team, which owns core POS (in-store payments) product development, and regional Partnerships teams, which own partner strategy and relationships. You will:
  • Define the APAC POS (in-store payments) proposition strategy and market-level priorities, aligned with regional growth objectives and the global Enterprise Product strategy.
  • Develop a clear view of enterprise merchant needs, market trends, regulatory developments and competitive dynamics through engagement with customers, commercial teams, market experts and industry participants.
  • Identify commercially attractive opportunities and translate them into differentiated POS (in-store payments) propositions, supported by robust business cases, commercial models and measurable outcomes.
  • Prioritise regional proposition requirements based on merchant demand, commercial value, regulatory needs, strategic fit and technical feasibility, including make-or-partner considerations where appropriate.
  • Translate APAC merchant and market needs into clear requirements and recommendations for the Enterprise Omni team, helping to develop core POS (in-store payments) product roadmaps, investment priorities and delivery plans.
  • Co-create and support the execution of go-to-market plans with Enterprise Omni, Product Commercialisation, Commercial and other relevant teams, covering segmentation, positioning, pricing, sales enablement and launch readiness.
  • Support regional Partnerships teams in managing relationships with local and regional POS (in-store payments) technology partners, contributing market and product expertise to partner selection, commercial engagement, integration, certification and accreditation activities.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Implementation, Sales and Operations to address regional readiness and onboarding barriers, support strategic merchant opportunities and enable successful launches and adoption.
  • Act as the APAC subject-matter expert for POS (in-store payments) propositions, monitoring proposition performance, merchant feedback and market developments to recommend opportunities for optimisation, expansion and continued investment.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by your organization and/or supervisors.

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, together with significant experience in product management, product propositions or product development within point-of-sale payments.
  • A strong track record of shaping and commercialising point-of-sale or in-store payment propositions, ideally for large enterprise merchants across multiple markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of merchant acquiring and the end-to-end in-store payment acceptance ecosystem, including payment terminals, terminal driving, POS (in-store payments) software, middleware, gateways, transaction processing, card schemes and alternative payment methods.
  • Experience with POS (in-store payments) related value-added services and the operational components of terminal deployment, key injection, estate management and other logistical elements.
  • Strong knowledge of APAC payment markets, including market practices, regulatory considerations, local payment methods, POS (in-store payments) ecosystems and the needs of enterprise merchants operating across the region.
  • Experience working alongside POS platform providers, independent software vendors, payment technology providers or integration partners serving sectors such as retail, hospitality, travel or restaurants.
  • The ability to evaluate how product capabilities, integrations and partnerships can address merchant needs, strengthen product-market fit and create commercially attractive opportunities.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, including experience developing business cases, financial models, investment proposals and data-led product recommendations.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence in a global matrix organisation, working effectively across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Partnerships, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Implementation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills, with the credibility to engage senior leaders and enterprise customers and to translate complex payment topics into clear commercial recommendations.
