At Worldpay, we have many Inclusion Networks, representing Worldpayers from every background. And we don’t just think it, we do it – ‘inclusive’ is one of our behaviors for a reason!

To mark the start of UK Black History Month, we asked members of our Elevate Black Inclusion Network what inclusion means to them.

It’s about belonging. It’s the feeling that no matter who you are, where you come from or what makes you unique, you matter. Ruth Mehdipour, Brand Strategist

Inclusion at work is when our efforts are acknowledged and appreciated, regardless of race, sex and religion. We’re open, we’re inclusive and we win as a team. Amos Filson, Regional Corporate Director, Field Sales

For me, inclusion at work means my strengths are recognized and valued. No matter who you are, you can show up and be heard. Gabriel Bolu, Senior Director Go-to-Market Data Strategy

Inclusion means being able to show up as your authentic self and knowing that your voice will be heard and your contributions valued. Rianna Bishop, Relationship Manager, Gaming & Trading

Inclusion means being part of the conversations you should be involved in and feeling like you can bring as close to 100% of yourself to work as possible. Ben Bello, Senior Manager Strategic Partnerships

It means embracing my true identity. Showing up as my true self has empowered me to excel in my career and improve my efficiency at work. Jennifer Parker, Sales Analyst, Business Insights and Intelligence

It means creating an environment where we can all thrive. It’s creating a community that embraces all backgrounds, strengths and experiences. Where we’re all supported and encouraged to be the best we can be. Milo Vickers, Associate Facilities Manager

To me, inclusion means being treated with respect, having my opinions valued, and being able to express my authentic self. Rebecca Rhodes, Relationship Manager, Digital & Finance
