What you’ll own

• Design, develop, and deliver Android features from requirements through implementation, ensuring secure, reliable, high-performance mobile applications that align with business and technical objectives.

• Own the technical design and architecture of assigned features, collaborating with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and fellow developers to create scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Drive development planning and execution by breaking down features into well-defined tasks, accurately estimating effort, tracking progress, and delivering work with high predictability and quality.

• Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, coding standards, modern Android development practices, and continuous improvement of application performance, security, and maintainability.

• Ensure product quality end-to-end by developing and maintaining unit tests, supporting functional and automated testing initiatives, resolving technical issues independently, and partnering with QA to deliver a seamless user experience.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of Android development experience with strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and the Android SDK, building and supporting production-grade mobile applications.

• Deep understanding of modern Android architecture patterns, including MVVM, clean architecture principles, dependency injection, and scalable application design.

• Strong experience integrating APIs, SDKs, and third-party libraries, with a focus on performance, maintainability, and seamless mobile user experiences.

• Expertise in secure mobile development, including secure coding practices, code obfuscation, encryption, HTTPS/TLS, and Android KeyStore/KeyChain implementation.

• Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate across teams, and drive high-quality software delivery.
